Our Cathedral, its artistry, its historicity, its spiritual presence, belongs to its people.

Here you will find a gathering place which represents the entire Christian Community of the Archdiocese of Dubuque, and especially those parishioners of St. Raphael Parish who care so well for the "mother church."

It is our hope that the Cathedral of Saint Raphael be a servant and announcer of the Gospel message, an instrument of peace, and a gathering focus for the worship of God.

It is our hope that this Cathedral be a sign of common discipleship and common membership in the Body of Christ, and stand as a bond of Diocesan unity among its members and the Archbishop.
