Pastoral Council
In the spirit of Vatican Council II, St. Raphael has established a parish pastoral council. This body serves the parish as representatives of the parish and shares with the pastor the responsibility of the vision, planning and policy-making required for a viable parish life.

Standing Committees

• Community Life
  This committee is responsible for providing opportunities for parish members to become acquainted through social events.

• Education
  The Parish Education Committee is responsible, with the pastor, for all areas of Catholic Education in the parish. This includes the parish religious education program, the sacramental programs for Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. It also includes the programs of adult faith formation. This committee meets regularly and interested parish members are welcome to attend meetings held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Rectory.

• Finance
  The Finance Committee assists the pastor in overseeing all aspects of parish finances. 

• Liturgy and Spiritual Life
  The worship of God through the sacramental Liturgies is at the heart of the life of each parish. St. Raphael has a tradition of providing meaningful liturgies. We consider that to be an important dimension of our parish mission.

• Social Concerns
  St. Raphael parish has a long tradition of caring and providing for persons in need of assistance. Doing works of mercy and promoting justice are essential dimensions of our response to the gospel of Jesus. The parish Social Concerns Committee oversees this aspect of our parish life.
