Partner Parish

In 1993 St. Raphael parish began to support the work of the Dubuque Franciscan Sisters in El Salvador.  A Social Justice Committee has been formed that directs our relationship with St. James the Apostle parish in Tenancingo, El Salvador.

Various projects are identified and carried out under the direction of the Social Justice Committee and parish members are involved in these projects. The pastor of our Partner Parish, Father Joaquin Melendez Avila, visited St. Raphael in June, 2003. Parishioners visit El Salvador each year.
