Pastoral Council

Introduction
In the spirit of Vatican Council II, St. Raphael has established a parish pastoral council. This body serves the parish as representatives of the parish and shares with the pastor the responsibility of the vision, planning and policy-making required for a viable parish life.

The council provides a channel of dialogue between parish members with the pastor and the parish staff. Nine members are elected for a three-year term; three members are appointed. The chair of the Finance Committee is an ex officio member.

The Council meets on the second Tuesday of September, October, November, January, February, March, April, May and June at 6:45 pm in the Raphael Rooms.  Each August a goal setting meeting is held for the Pastoral Council and all Parish Committees.
