Sacraments
Baptism Baptisms are to be arranged through the parish
staff. This Sacrament is celebrated during or after mass
Mass on Saturday evening or Sunday. Parents are expected to
attend the pre-baptism class prior to the baptism of their
first child. This is best done before the birth of the baby.
Your baby's baptism is a time for celebration and joy. We
hope to help you plan and prepare for the baptism in the
best possible way.
Eucharist Weekend Eucharist is at 4:00 pm on Saturday at St. Patrick and at 7:30 and
10:00 am and 5:30 pm on Sunday at St. Raphael. On Sunday at 1:00 pm the Eucharist is celebrated in Spanish at St. Patrick.
On Holy Days the
Eucharist is usually at 7:30 am and 5:30 pm on the Holy Day at St. Raphael. See the
bulletin for exact Mass times and locations. Weekday Eucharist is at 7:30 amMonday
through Friday at St. Raphael and at Noon on Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Patrick.
Reconciliation
Reconciliation is celebrated Wednesday and Friday at 7:00
am at St. Raphael, Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 am and Saturday at 3:15 pm at St. Patrick. Or you may call the rectory for an appointment. Communal celebrations are
celebrated at St. Raphael/St. Patrick as well as other parishes during Advent and Lent.
Additional communal Celebrations of Reconciliation are
celebrated at other parishes during Advent and Lent.
Anointing of the Sick Anointing of the Sick may be
arranged by calling the pastor. Communal Anointing takes
place during Advent and Lent.
Marriage Weddings are to be arranged with the pastor. Couples
planning a wedding should call at least six months prior to
their date.
Confirmation Confirmation is celebrated every other year. High
School Candidates for Confirmation must participate in the
Confirmation program. Adults who have not been confirmed are
welcome to attend a city-wide Confirmation class during Lent
each year.
